I was trying to add a cute calender gadget to my blog and the top of my page got replaced by this ad. Guess what I don't know how to remove it. I was able to remove the calendar thinking that would take care of it but it didn't.
If anyone know how to get me at this predicament I have got myself into please let me know.
I am desperate to get rid of this ad.
Is seen that.. can yo not just change the url back to your headers image?
ReplyDeleteI don't see any ad so hopefully you figured out the problem. Don't you just hate this technical stuff that gets in the way of blogging? I had a major problem with my computer over the weekend and had to reinstall Windows to fix it, so now each day I'm taking time to reinstall and update everything to get back to normal.
ReplyDeleteI don't use blogger on a daily basis but I have one to comment with. I just right clicked on this page and selected view page source so I could see what html you need to remove. I don't see an ad in it but I see something at the top of your page only it isn't showing as anything but a little box. I wish I knew more about blogger to help you. Your page source shows where you got your theme (http://msdanielledesigns.com/). Could you re-download it and just replace the theme or did you have it custom made? Even so, maybe they have a backup copy. I'm going to learn to backup my site today. You've convinced me I need to.
ReplyDeleteI went into my custom layout. Not a great idea. I either shrunk the ad or removed it but my header still is not showing. It is still in the custom layout but I must have screwed it up too. I have tried to contact a couple of blog designers to get advice I hope I can get it fixed soon. Danielle designs custom designed it but she is in the process of moving to a new home.

ReplyDeleteSomething I learned along time ago if I'm going to work in certain areas I copy and save the original in notepad or word that way if I mess something up I can just put the original back =)
